Delete your account

You can delete your Cutter Canvas account and its data at any time, yourself, without contacting us.

How to delete it

1. Open Cutter Canvas, in the app or at cuttercanvas.com, and sign in.
2. Open your profile from the avatar in the top right.
3. Scroll to Your data and choose Delete my account.
4. Type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone. If you would like a copy of your data first, use Download my data in the same place — it gives you everything below as a single JSON file.

If you cannot sign in for any reason, email support@cuttercanvas.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you.

What is deleted

Permanently, and straight away:

• Your profile — name, email address and account identifier.
• Saved cutters and saved icing designs, including any you had shared publicly.
• Invoices, client proposals and your pricing profile.
• Uploaded photos and the 3D models generated from your designs.
• Your recent-work history, preferences, and remaining credit balance.
• Your rows in our usage and analytics records.

Any credits left on the account are forfeited. They are not refundable and cannot be transferred, so spend them first if you want to use them.

What is kept, and why

Two things survive deletion. We would rather say so here than have you discover it afterwards.

• Records of completed purchases. Orders you paid for and credit purchases are retained as financial records, because we are required to keep them for tax and accounting. They are stripped first: your name, email address, shipping address and account identifier are removed, along with your designs. What remains is an amount, a date, and a payment reference that cannot be traced back to you.
• A marker that this Google account already claimed its free credits. New accounts get free credits to try the app. Google account identifiers do not change, so without this marker anyone could delete and re-create an account to claim the free credits again, indefinitely. The marker holds nothing but the fact that the bonus was already given — no name, no email, no history.

Neither record can be used to identify you or to rebuild your account. If you sign up again later, you start fresh, except that the free signup bonus will not be granted a second time.

Timing

Everything above is removed as soon as you confirm. One exception: rows in our analytics warehouse cannot be deleted for a short period after they are written (a limitation of the warehouse, usually under two hours). Those are queued and removed automatically once the window passes. Backups are kept for 30 days on a rolling basis and expire on their own.
